Hey, I'm Michael Wilson!
I built this firm so ministry leaders could stay on mission while someone actually owned the accounting.
I live in Springfield, and I’m a Certified CFO.
At home, I’m Katelyn’s husband and a dad to 4 beautiful girls. Outside the firm, I lead cohorts for Faith-Driven Entrepreneur, co-host a podcast called "Heavyweights," and another podcast I’m launching for SBK called "Reconciled." I'm also building the Reconciled Life Operating System (RLOS) for leaders who want their whole life sorted, not just the numbers. Among other ventures...
I see running SBK as an act of stewardship. God gave me this team, and I intend to multiply gospel impact through the work, not by making the brand about me.
We exist to reflect God’s design for serving others by helping ministries build and run a finance system, so leaders can stay on mission.
Stewardship does not require you to be the finance department.
The ministry is growing.
The board wants a picture they can trust.
The seat keeps turning over, and inexperienced staff or volunteers cannot keep up with the complexity.
We build the function, month after month: fractional accounting when the numbers are not yet trusted, then Fractional CFO when the next season needs a number. You stay on the mission. The books don’t have to stay on you.
